Waking up in Vegas

Ever since I purchased Deborah Lippman's nail polish in "Today was a fairytale" I have become a fan of this nail polish line. The colors are pretty and some of the opaque shades only require one coat (which I love!). Nothing is more annoying than layering a nail polish 5 times just to get the color you see in the bottle.

My next nail polish purchase will be "Waking up in Vegas". Lady Gaga wore it on the cover of Vanity Fair, too!

Holiday Weight Gain. Ouch.

I am trying to trim those extra holiday pounds off and need some motivation. I have been going to yoga and trying to watch what I eat but I do not have enough will power. So today  I browsed through magazines and found an image that I like and will inspire me to hit the gym...

Check out those abs! I love workout clothes and she looks so fit and cool. 

Way to go, Nike. Your ads are working. I want those clothes and I want those abs.

Decorating

Lately I've grown tired of the way my bedroom looks. Its time to revamp. So I've been looking at interior design blogs for inspiration. I really love damask designs (as you can see from my blog's background) and came across an image of Kim Kardashian's bathroom in her old house...

I really love it and would do this if I had the right house for it. The design might be overwhelming for some but I think it is glamorous. (Gotta love the self portrait above the toilet! ha!)

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish

So I have been on the hunt for a glittery nail polish for Christmas and New Years. (Hence, the glitter nail polish on my wish list!) I looked at some Sephora nail polishes and they were cute but sold out on line and in stores. bummer. But after searching some more I came across a silvery glitter nail polish that I really love!

This is a Deborah Lippmann nail polish in the color "Today Was A Fairy Tale". I did about 3 coats of this color on my clear nails and I really like how it looks. It's a bit expensive for nail polish ($20) but I think it is worth it. You can get this color here. I picked mine up at Nordstrom.
